Manon is one of our HR interns from France, she is doing a Master Degree at Ipag Business School. Here are some question I asked her about her experience.
What made you want to do an internship in the UK?
In almost every Business School in France, third year students have to go abroad for a year and spend 6 months doing an internship and the other 6 months going on a university exchange. I started looking for internships in the UK because I wanted one in an English speaking country. Also I didn’t know anything about the British culture and I thought that it will be relevant for my professional career to have an experience in UK.
How has your internship at ESPA been so far and what have you enjoyed the most?
This question is hard to answer because I have enjoyed every single minute in ESPA. For me this experience was the most important experience in my life, because I was not in my country and not speaking in my native language. I enjoyed working in an international environment and dealing with candidates from all around the world. Moreover I have never learned so much during a working experience, ESPA is not only a company but also a family with a great business model. ESPA UK is the first company I worked for that was able to transmit passion about the work we are doing at ESPA. ESPA UK helps you to achieve your professional goals and also your personal goals. If I have to work for ESPA UK again I will not even hesitate one second.
What are your future plans/Goals?
After this internship I am going in University Exchange in Argentina (Buenos Aires), to improve my Spanish language as well, and discover a completely different culture. Then I will come back to school to finish my two last year of studies and complete my master degree. I would like to continue one year of study abroad to gain knowledge, and at the same time working on my ideas to build my own company.
